If Oklahoma had only played Pittsburgh then instead of the year before, Pitt would not have won the national title.

Oklahoma beat Missouri, 27-20.

Missouri had to be the best 6-5 team that year. They defeated USC, Ohio State and Nebraska. USC's only loss was to Mizzou.

Oklahoma and Pittsburgh should renew their mini rivalry. Oklahoma does lead the series 9-1-1.

Renew the series on the condition that U. of Pittsburgh goes back to the yellow and blue unis from the Marino era. Otherwise, the game will not only have the score of a OU vs. UNT/Fresno St/Tulsa game but the feel of one as well. At least give an effort to make the game look exciting. ND will do that from time to time(green jersey) when they know they will get their's kicked.
