A couple of weeks ago my truck ('93 Toyota) started losing coolant and I can't figure out where in the world it is going. It leaves no puddles on the ground. I took it to my uncle who is a mechanic and he put pressure through it and found no real problems. He replaced the radiator cap and a couple of small water hoses. He said it wasn't the head gasket. So I'm kind of stumped because after the few changes that he made it has done it again. I know very little about anything under the hood of a vehicle so anybody have any clue what it might be? Figured I might as well ask here because I've asked everybody else I know. TIA.

Check the oil. If it's milky, it's leaking into the crankcase.

Nope, I've checked that too and the oil isn't milky.

Is there any white smoke in the exhaust?

Get your uncle to put some dye in the radiator drive a few miles and check it with a black lite

Knowing some of our neighbors, I can't exclude that as a possibility!;)

We have a forklift that does this. we think it is a small hole in the radiator. pressure test on it COLD and it test fine. When its hot it has a slight pressure loss. Some time we can smell it. But you can't see it because it evaporates because its hot.

I bet your muffler bearing is worn out.

I think he has a coolant leak into his blinker fluid reservoir.
