Tore both the meniscus in my left knee, so they repaired that.

The doctor also said I tore a ligament (not sure which one) so he fixed that as well.

I'm walking around without crutches, but Loritab is making me a little loopy.

On a brighter side, Mrs. MiccoMacey said my recovery plan is to rest on the couch in front of the TV and watch old OU football tapes the next few days. Her words, not mine. God bless her!

Sounds like you got a keeper there!

Hope your recovery goes according to plan with no bumps in the road.

Sounds like a good gig. How do I get me one of those torn meniskial dealios? I guess I could also use a wife that will let me loaf on the coach.

I could of sworn I caught meniscus one time, maybe I was mistaken.

Don't take the loritab.

It's addictive.

I've sent you my address via a PM.

Send them to me...I'll dispose of them. :D

I'm glad I stopped you before it's too late...

Did you hurt yourself in a heroic firefighting rescue?

I feel for you man. I currently have both ACLs and meniscus torn. Cant wait to get insurance to get them fixed. I dont wish that pain on anyone. Its not fun at all. What type of recovery time are you looking at after such a surgery?

Would your meniscus start throbbing out of the blue? The exact point at where it was torn?

Do NOT listen to StoopTroup, he'll just take them himself.

Send them to me.

Hope you feel better soon, I've had 4 of those myself and it's amazing how fast you can recover.

No can do muscle relaxers. I take one and wake up 2 days later.

So, if you take 4.. then... just think of all the sleep you can get caught up on!

Thanks for all the well-wishes.

It's an old firefighting injury that just got worse and worse. I had to carry 1st Time Caller's brother on my back his first few months on the job. ;)

I'm all better now. This is my fourth surgery on that knee, so I knew what was coming.

And I'll dispense all the Loritab to anyone who wants one, if I have any left over. Which I won't because I've learned if you double down on your dosage, you feel even better. Especially if taken with a cold brew or two. :D

If you really want to take your mind off the pain, tell her to put in OU/UO 2006 and OU/UT 1984.

I can watch the OU/UO game and not let my blood get riled up.

It would completely defeat the purpose to watch the 1984 OU/UT game.

Not sure why that game bothers me (bothers isn't a good word...it's a game, not life and death), but that misblown call irked me more.

Anyhoo, I have chosen to watch the 2000-2004 RRSs. And the Alabama games. Pretty much anything prior to 2005.
