Can I trade him in for one with an ounce of common sense?

Or do they make those models?

crawfish needs someone to wipe it off now, though.

I think the ones with common sense are the defective ones. Sounds like you have a standard model.

I feel like a brain dead, drooling zombie after dealing with him for a while, that's for sure.

NO GIRLS!!!

If there's anything that makes me appreciate my teenage son, it's seeing my friends deal with their teenage girls. ;)

When a teenager makes sense--that's when you start worrying.

Research has shown that your brain doesn't start to fully function until you're 25 or so. Auto insurers already had that figured that out. :D

My wife and I support the
"bury them when they turn 13 and dig them up when they turn 20" philosophy.

Saddly we didn't determine that we supported that scheme until our's was about .......20.

On the other hand, my grandkids are really neat. Much nicer than having kids of your own.

I guess I just got lucky, crawfish. My 18yo daughter is really smart: She knows EVERYTHING.

Now as to the teens . Heres the deal that will work
Ya take the whole state of Kansas , Ya know cause Kansas sucks anyway .
Put up a huge *** fence around it , When the kid turns 13 toss em in . They dont get out till they can pass a common sense test  :pop:

Too bad he's not three years older, we could get 'em together. They have so much in common. :D

I'm not even sure mine understand English anymore. Unfortunately, your kid is normal.

I've already survived those years. They suck all of the fun out of life and leave you - OLD!

here's one of the "smarter" things jk2 did once

jk2 works hard as long as its not something for me - because if he's doing something for me, he's got a mile long lazy streak

i told him to clean out the microwave....which he does...but of course there's all sorts of standing water on the walls and base of the microwave

so instead of ....you know, getting a paper towel or two and wiping it out....he turns on the microwave thinking that the heat will dry it out

of course all it does is heat it up - i swear....he's really a very smart kid

sometimes.......
