What's the market like for tickets at Tulsa? I didn't get any from OU either, :( so I guess this is a popular game. The Tulsa athletic department isn't selling single game tickets until September 1.

You can get season tickets to good seats right now. $165 for the best category, and there are seats available between the 35 and 50, level "S," whatever that means, row 8.

Are there tickets available outside the stadium?

Tulsa also has a three game mini pack available - Houston, UAB, and OU the cost depending on location is from $95 to $115.

The face on the Tulsa tickets are $75.00 each. Heres a site that has them for more than the 3 game package price that yukonsooner mentioned, but I guess thats one example of what the market would be. Maybe it'll be possible to buy some outside the gate.

Always available outside the gate...

Especially for this one.

TU Fans know we'll pay bucks for those tickets...

There will be a bunch more than likely.

$75 bucks? damn that's high... who do they think they are, lOSUr?

And how much are tickets to games in Norman?

If you people continue to display a willingness to pay through the nose to watch OU play, then opposing schools will cash in when it's their time. And for the record, TU offers a mini-pack most seasons.

i think Miami is $77

but $75 when you can get season tickets for $111 is pretty steep

Yep. That's kinda what I was thinking as well.

I understand why they do it, and we do the same thing to an extent (Miami), but it just seems kinda bush league.

So, when we do it it's "kinda bush league" but when OU does it for a marquee matchup it's just smart business?

I don't think anyone who cheers for a school that has their byzantine ticket policies set up by Joe Castiligione has any room to talk about anyone else's ticket packages.

yeah, but the OU tickets vary by $30 between teams, Miami isn't close to being half, or a third of the whole season

yeah, but i think the OU tickets vary by $20 between teams, Miami isn't close to being half, or a third of the whole season

The Tulsa vs. OU game ticket is about 3 1/2 times the average Tulsa ticket.

They'd be the same if OU was charging $190 for the Miami Game. :D

I'm sorry we're not just rolling over like Baylor and happily giving you guys tickets for $10 just to have asses in the stands. It's called "supply and demand"; if you think we're so bad for getting you for every penny we can, send us a message. Don't buy 'em.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

Lotta "We's" in there, Didn't know you worked for the university. ;)

(and yes, I know I do it too. Just lightening the mood)

Just pointing out that the ticket price was high. Nobody's saying they can't do it. School's have done it before and will continue to, but the ratio was just a little shocking.

This is just another reason that any place in Oklahoma is > Tulsa.

This is just another reason that any poster on Soonerfans is > Sooner24.

You know what the really annoying thing about one-trick ponies is? They only know one trick.
