saw em last night at the diamond ballroom and it was excellent. i usually don't justify spending 20 bucks for shows, but they made it worth it. went on for about 2 hours. plus, their bassist's dad lives here, so they had him come up and play piano on a song. and bonus: the dude used to play for Chicago. extra rad points on that one.

BMRC also features Brain Jonestown Massacre alum Peter Hayes--my cousin saw them in Dallas....said they were pretty hot. i like em pretty good.

Robert Levon Been is the son of Oklahoma's own Michael Been of The Call. BMRC is a great band. I'm sick that I had to miss the show. :mad:
