Just curious, for some reason I'm seeing it advertised and people talking about it a lot. Anyone here recommend it?

My recommendation is wait till it is on HBO, TBS, TNT, etc. It is ok, but not worth shellin' out $$$ to rent/ppv it.

No.

Word. Trying to be a family man, taking on corporate America, doesn't work for the sumbitch. He should go it alone.

The daughter in the movie is pretty hot, but she's still underage.

terrible. I watched about 6 minutes of it. If you have a 5 year old they might like it(Robin Williams).

I thought it was fair. My 5 year old really liked it though. She points out RV's on the road all the time now and mentions that movie.

Well, I was thinking about renting it, then the date showed up with it. Not my $$$, so I figured what the hell, I'll give it a whirl.

RV = Mrs. Doubtfire

Seen better, seen worse. It's a sign, SoonerFans is all knowing and all seeing. :D

Whatever happened to the cutting edge comedians from the early 80's??
Steve Martin - "dozens" of crap
R Williams - RV, centennial man.... the list goes on
Eddie Murphy - too many doolittles and crap

I was pleasantly surprised by it.

I expected crap and it was way better than I expected. I wouldn't have seen it at all if somebody hadn't said it was funny. There is very little of the typical RW overacting(in comedies).

Agreed. I certainly wouldn't have paid to see it, but it wasn't nearly as execrable as the commercials for it would have you believe. I give it a solid "eh" (as opposed to a "meh"). Robin Williams must have had a boat payment due or something, because he was totally miscast.

Kristen (Chenoweth), is from oklahoma and graduated from OCU. We used to hang out at PD's back in the early 90's. She won a tony for your a good man charlie brown and was on west wing. She has a few albums out, is about 4 ft nuthin and the sweetest person you would ever meet.

I've got me one of them there recreational vehicles. We use it only about twice a year for OU/TX and [insert emergency road trip here].
