Until my vacation time at Grand Lake, I got five... yes, FIVE Orange Bowl DVDs to watch. :D

... and NO, none are the game which we do not speak of.

1976 - OU vs UM
1980 - OU vs FSU
1981 - OU vs FSU (again)
1986 - Joe Pawn3d, DE-FENSE, (clap-clap) DE-FENSE!!!
2001 - Terry Bowden ever-so-brilliantly quotes "If Oklahoma plays at their very best, and if Florida State plays at their very best... FLORIDA STATE WILL WIN THIS GAME).

I wonder how we'll do? :pop:

I think my Dad has the 79 on VHS. He recorded one of the Sooner Champeenships off of ESPN Classic or something a while back.

1979 Orange Bowl win should have been for a share of the national title with SC. No one wanted a piece of OU or The Corn, so they had to settle for each other again. OU deserved the title. Hell, look at Florida's situation in 1996.

Damn I thought you were heading to Miami. Orange Bowl is a classic. Hopefully it will be saved.

Eight, can you send me a copy of the 76 game? :D

And I will never forget the look on St Tom's face when he found out who he was going to play in the Orange Bowl. :D One of my favorite memories.

^^^ I noticed that. :D

I'm going to watch the rest of the 86 OB when I get back home. I saw Miami was tied at 7 with UT, wonder how that'll turn out for us??? :D

Pat Jones: A lot of people got Oklahoma ranked #1. I got 'em at Number 2 behind the (1985) Chicago Bears. :D
