Christopher Beltram Hernandez "J.J." Yeley is on the pole for the first time in his career. Stewart banged up his car in practice with Gilliland yesterday, and word is that Brian Vickers has a very fast car. How fitting would it be if Toyota's first win was in Michigan?

Looks like fuel/pit strategy is the name of the game with 25 laps to go.

Heh! #48 ran o/o fuel with 8 laps to go. Even NASCAR can't manufacture a way for him or Gordon to win now.

Huh?

Gotta love a guy that can do 200 laps and then climb out and do a back flip. Glad Edwards got back in the winner's circle, he is a class act and any fool can climb a fence!

His motorcoach driver hasn't shaved since his last cup win, because he took a vow not to shave until the next one.. Hence why they were cutting his beard in victory lane.

Ahhh, I thought he was a member of the pit crew. That is a looooong time to go without a good shave! Gotta love the truckers. :)

Roush Racing owns Michigan and FirstOnRaceDay swept all 4 races this weekend.

GM suxs and I would never own one.

Yeah, they suck. They've won all but two races this year?

And Sleestak, you can have that gay *** back flip.

I would like to see a little more fence climbing this year, though.

Me too Blue! The backflip is cool, but I root for TS.

After the end of last year, I thought I could live the rest of my life without seeing him climb a fence.

Now, I wouldn't mind it so much. Might happen at Sonoma, especially if Ingrid goes into labor on Friday or Saturday. ;)
