For Cheryl Samusevich, it was an event to add to her “life list.” Birdwatchers often keep a list of rare birds or out-of-the-ordinary bird sightings they catch over the course of their hobby.
i'll bet she is fun to talk to...

When I worked promoting tourism in Nebraska a couple of summers ago, the birding meetings were the absolute worst. Just brutally boring.

Just something else from Oklahoma that shows up in Nebraska every few years and makes Nebraskans sit and watch in awed amazement. :D
