Using only two platoon era players what would your one platoon Sooners look like?

Here's mine:
QB-DB Watts/Mildren
FB-LB Bosworth/Cumby
TB-DB Washington/Petersen
WR-DB Savage/Perkins
WR-DB M.Bradley/Williams
TE-LB Jackson/Travian Smith
OL-DL Le. Selmon/Joseph
OL-DL Brown/Romero
OL-DL Harris / R. Bryan
OL-DL Roberts/A. Phillips
OL-DL Casillas /Dvoracek
Thats my two-deep,here are some reserves:
WR-DB Dixon
TB-LB Sims
QB-DB Heupel
FB-LB Runnels
TE-DL Zabel
WR_DB -R.Smith
Found myself thinking like a 50's coach and going defense first in many cases. Two bad knees kept JW off my one-platoon team.Anyhow this is what I came up with off the top of my head.Sorry I thought I WAS on the football board, didn't realize I wasn't till I posted it.

Billy Sims - RB/LB or possibly T. Marshall FB/LB, how would you like to have him lead blocking one-on-one.....scary.

Nice thread though, timing was good Stoopified!

Wasn't Jason White being recruited as a safety by Miami?

No Derrick Strait? No Tommy McDonald? No Prentiss Gaut? And just for sheer athletic ability how 'bout Buster Rhymes?
I need more drinks to think this through clearly....

Mc Donald and Gautt played one platoon football this is to pick players from two-platoon era and project them as two-way players
.Jaux,you are right about Murphy'
518 in the one platoon setup if Heupel is going to play QB,he has to play D somewhere .DB,preferably safety is only place to put him.
Cincy I could see Clayton as a WR/DB
The toughest part of projecting two platoon players into one platoon is picking players athletic enough to play both ways. This one reason why Heupel is not on my QB/DB two-deep but merely reserve and JW is not listed at all.A healthy(pre knee) Jason White would be a great QB/DB.but alas he played 90 % of his career on two bad knees.

It is also tough to project two-way linemen.I went with a lot of guys who started as D-linemen and ere moved to O-line.The theory (held by many coaches) is that you put your best linemen athletic wise on D.
