Easy stuff:
1. Best Mexican
2. Best BBQ
3. Best Hamburgers
4. Best place to take about 30 of your friends (who are maybe sweaty, probably cheap, and whose adults will want some alkyhaul)

Seems like we took a big family group to Johnny's or something - a kinda big place (this one was on NW Expressay near Rockwell I think) where you walk in and order and find a table and they call your number. nice huge onion rings (but no booze?).

I don't know about best, but I will qualify them as my personal favorites:

1. Mexican: Ninos - on the east side of Western just north of I-240/74th

3. Hamburgers: Dan's Ol' Time Diner - on the west side of Western between SW 89th and I-240/74th

red robin is the most overrated 9 dollar chain burger you ever had.

there's a putt-putt on Western too.

yermom

they make half of a tasty burger

i've never gotten through all of one without the other half being cold and mushy or something

that and it took 45 minutes to get to me

and all-you-can eat fries means all the fries you can actually get me to bring you with two maybe trips to see you and bring fries and refill your drink

Heh. No kidding. There's no evidence there was ever a Putt Putt there.

Too bad they've never gotten around to actually serving that burger to someone.

i've only been there 3 times, but i don't remember extra long waits or bad service.

i threw it out there because they could handle 30 people and the adults could imbibe (and it isn't in a ****ty part of the city).

speaking of burgers, i've gained 15 lbs since they put a Charlestons on the souf side. they make a tasty burger.

The problem with Red Robin in this particular instance is that it would take them 30 minutes to get there.

Once they asked me if I wanted extra napkins. OF COURSE I WANT EXTRA NAPKINS YOU LOAD!

:D

Actually, the joke I was making was that while I'm sure they've made some good burgers, those aren't the burgers that ever got served to anyone.

1. I'm a Chelino's man myself. They're all over.
2. Earl's is pretty good
3. I like Johnnie's here, but the list is long.
4. I'm guessing they'll be staying on Meridian. Shorty Smalls might fit the bill here. Meridian and Reno.

That's the one attached/near the skating rink. I've never seen anyone actually play mini golf there.
