It was awhile ago. He had a few good outings early and then got lit up a few times. He is at AAA Iowa now. Pinella said good things about him and indicated that he would be back to the bigs at some point.

Thanks. I haven't talked to him in a few months but I ran into a bit salesman today that said something to the effect of Rocky pitching for the Cubs the other day.

Rocky hasn't pitched for the Cubs for about 2 months. I thought he was good enough to replace some of their other arms in the pen, such as Bob Howry.

Actually he pitched May 14th and was sent down on May 15th but who's counting.

He pitched in 8 games (9.1 innings) and had a sub 3 ERA. He will be back but he cannot hold Bobby Howry's jock. He would tell you that as well.

Rocky returned to the bigs on Saturday. Pitched two innings during a blowout win by the Brewers (over the Cubs) and could not answer the bell for his 3rd inning and is now on the DL. Bad Luck.
