under 200 is good - assuming it's not all LDL.

That's what I thought.
HDL = 42
LDL = 112

I guess I have to have my LDL under 100. :O

I don't know. Maybe there is just a bunch of sludge running...ur caked in my veins.:(

Those numbers aren't ideal, but they aren't bad. If I remember right since you have hbp they probably want your LDL under 100 and your HDL above 50. Something like that.

Puss.

Here's mine from January. I'll go back in July and see if the changes I made to my diet have done any good.

Cholesterol: 249 (< 200 is desirable)
HDL (Good cholesterol): 44 (normal is 35-100)
LDL (Bad cholesterol): 146 (< 130 is desirable)
Triglycerides (fats): 297 (< 150 is recommended :eek:)

Great...now I have a headache with the ****s, but I am really plugged up and I am farting all over the place with an upset tummy, a rash, and my muscles ache.
Sounds like a better alternative than high cholesterol ;)

I'm at 192 overall. I don't recall off the top of my head the HDL/LDL breakdown, but when I had my physical last month they were both within normal ranges. Basically, I'm very pleased with it, especially since I'm a ripe old 56 years old!
