So I saw a web yesterday that looked like it might belong to a black widow. Sho nuf, tonight I went out with the flashlight and there she was. Well, she was kind of hanging out there in space without a good solid background to smash her with. As I am looking around for some way to kill her, I see another web. I couldn't think of anything to kill them with until I remembered this very frightening night. http://www.soonerfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47921
I had of course suppressed it after much therapy but I have two boys that need me to be there so I sucked it up and grabbed the red ryder. Armed with just the red ryder, a flashlight, adidas sandals,shorts, and wifebeater I kissed the wife and headed out the door. I found that if the light hits them and then you bump the web, they disappear quickly. I had to have bait so I headed to the front porch light to find some flying critter to throw into the web. It worked, as soon as the bug hit the web, she was out of the hole and into the open and of course I dispatched her quickly. As I turned to go after #2, I see yet another web...
So far its Chiro 3, spiders 0


Seriously folks, three black widows in the last 20 minutes and I haven't really looked very hard. I'm a bit concerned that I might need to spray.:eek:

I dont think spraying yourself will make you anymore stealthy.
That stuff only works in the movies.

Move to Florida, I always need another Sooner in my neighborhood.

Be sure and bring your BB gun, as we've got our own problem with backyard pests.
