...we lost our old one. The new senora will come in one a week and make everything all muey bueno for when we get off work on Friday.

She's Guatamalan. I have no idea if she's legal, but WTF, I'm never running for office. Besides, them gringos in the perfeshinul house cleaning biz charge too dang much.

That is all.

I have a housekeeper, they're great (sometimes I don't likea few things, like forgetting to take some stuff out to the garbage). I have never meet or seen them, I just know they come on Fridays.

My housekeeper's are legal. Thankfully, for political reasons. ;)

There are usually 4-6 that come at a time. It's amazing how quick and how good of a job they do.

What is the going rate for a once a week house cleaner? We had one but she has returned to her country of origin. I am concerned that the rate we paid her was a grandfathered rate and a new helper might cost an arm and a leg.

You'd better not let me hear you complaining about her. If there's 2 things I won't tolerate, it's folks complaining about their maids or their swimming pools!

:D
