Yessir! Home skuling develops the WHOLE person. I wonder if Mom has had him neutered yet.
Jeebus!
That kid wouldn't last five minutes at Ernest P. Dinwiddie Junior High. Some 13 year-old Goth vampire wanna-be chick would have him for lunch.

He has a better chance of a week with Olevet than a night with a woman.

I mean, sure, he might cure cancer or something, but dayum what a basket case.

This one's better. Give the kid a break, he's 13 w/ Asberger's.

Then his parents shouldn't be parading him around on TV. They're kind of opening him up for this kind of criticism.

yeah, why don't people keep their intelligent kids at home so we don't have to look at them. Otherwise, we'll just make fun of them, and let the not so intelligent kids become, like president or something

Are they still really into it? One of my bestfriends was like the king of FTG geography bees. He went to all the regionals, state competition, etc. He was pretty damned good.

Then there was another guy a few years older than me who, I believe, won state and then went on to nationals.

Seeing as how Asperger's obviously affects his communication abilities, why the hell would his parents parade him around for interviews and talk shows without one of them being present?

I bet it is due to they want him to appear normal. If they were constantly around, then that would attract to his Asperger's.

I dont know, but if they thought he'd appear normal without them around, they were wrong. At least they give him independence instead of pampering.

Yeah, but they are making their kid look like the nation's number one 13 year old *******. With the media(ask any ovarian) you are being thrown to the wolves.

Totally agree 100%

I guess there needs to be a balance of independence/restraint

Kinda seems the media is playing on his akwardness
