Having lived most of my life outside of Oklahoma (though I'm sixth generation), it has been brought home to me the utter contempt with which we are viewed by those living in more fashionable areas. We are merely the place they fly over to get to someplace cool or the butt of jokes.
Now, you can try to convince them of the error of their ways. And, if you succeed, more of them would want to come live with us.
Or, you can remain silent and witness their humiliation when their hot team is handed its head.
Me, I prefer the latter. Ignorance is its own reward.
OU will do it's talking on the field.

Who cares? Not me. Like someone above said, "OU will do the talking on the field".

Personally, I would just as soon have NO preseason rankings. Rank the teams after 5 games. Base the rankings on this years performance not the past. A few years ago, Beano Cook named Miami, FL, the #1 team. Every week he said something like "Miami was #1 at the first game and nobody has beaten them yet so they are still #1". How ignorant of the facts and events can someone be?

how many times has osu beaten us in norman. the only loss off the top of my head is a few years back on that TD at the end of the game.

pokes are a joke, and when you prove they suck at football, they always pull out those damn wraslin and golf titles.

i dont know what to do with them?

'95 & '97 (did those years really exist?)

Also, along the same vein as the thread title, I just picked up TSN's pre-season annual, & the genius that is Matt Hayes has us sitting at home for the bowl season.

That website seems to exist solely to give Alabama another way to claim national titles. I wouldn't worry a whole lot about it.
