Well, I am needing a flask for a weekend trip to Atlanta. I went to two grocery stores, perusing the plastic container aisles, I went to Big Lots, Dollar Tree, two wine stores, Target and Linens And Things. The best thing I got out of the deal was some eye candy in Linen And Things. Hot ****'s, if you will.

For the record, there is not a flask to be had in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on this the 7th day of June 2007, of our Lord and Saviour.

Which means I have to schlep the entire half gallon with me for an overnight trip.

If you are in Fayettville, NC, I am sure you can find a Mason jar.

I just though of a place. US Cavalry Store just off-post near Bragg. They'll have them for sure, but they'll be plastic. Probably better than metal anyway.

If you go to a liquor store, they'll sell you a pint or half pint.

Go to one of those places that sells and engraves gifts for weddings (groomsmen), graduations, etc. Around here, I think they are called "Things Remembered" or something. They have them in every mall. Just buy one without getting it engraved.

Just wrap the bottle with a brown paper bag. It's cheap and no one will know what you're drinkin'. ;)
