If I can't get truthiness, a ticket that I'd like to see (and one I think is electable) is Edwards & Gore.

Or these d00ds:

Edwards/Gore is about the most unelectable ticket that could possibly exist. One's a narcissistic psycho, the other is a psychotic narcissist.

Until further notice, I'm on the Fred Thompson bandwagon. I haven't decided on a worthy running mate yet. And this is only if Chuck Norris is not running.

If Keating ran I would contribute heavily against him...out of Oklahoma then back for 8 years as Governor, then out of Oklahoma again...what a chump...

Switzer/Stoops 2008. :D

I think Stoops/Switzer.

Switzer is more of an ambassador type. I could see him drinking Vodka w/ Putin, Tequila w/ Chavez, and Saki w/ Kim Jong. He'd set them all straight and they'd be attending Sooner games after awhile. As for the queerbait from Iran, Barry would just slap him around a little and talk some sense to him.

Now when President Stoops talked, people would listen.

"We nuked Iran in a great way! America is about winning championships!":D

ahhh, i read a little different - while Bush gave strong consideration to Keating, there was some trust issue there - and once you violate trust with Bush - he drops you from out of his inner circle - and thats how Keating slipped out of favor for that - i cant remember what the issue was however

That was the problem as I remember it. Keating broke with Bush on some issue and that was supposedly the deal breaker.

Bob: "Look, I told you, we killed Osama, we're ready to move on as a nation. Again, I just think that we're put together in too good'a way to keep reflecting on this. I liked our overall execution of the Al-Qaeda leader, but I still feel there's room to improve for our next opponent."

Barry: "L'me tell ya somethin'... (points finger) we're not going to take anymore **** from that little bastard, Kim Jong Illiot, mkay? I'll tell ya somethin' else, too... anyone else who wants some!!! (smacks hand down on table violently)."

Sound about right? :D

it's going to be a freakshow.

the 2000 election featured the post-Clinton loverboy Gore and blueblood oil money Bush name. parodic as both are/were at least there was something.

2008 will be an open bloodbath on manufactured issues.

Right now I will be voting 3rd party KC. Doesn't matter who it is. Probably Libertarian.

The questions and answers in the debates so far have mostly disgusted me. Manufactured is absolutely correct. Trying to pander to every possible voting group.

There was also the Keating/Dreyfus scandal that put a damper on things.

Keating is one of McCain's biggest supporters and routinely goes out and speaks for him when John can't make it...

Senator Edwards is outlining a new national security strategy that hinges on the creation of a 10,000-person civilian peace corps to stem the tide of terrorism in weak and unstable countries.http://www.nysun.com/article/56127?page_no=1

Hmm, AQ and Iran vs the peace corp.
