...so what was it they're dying for again?

Disclaimer: Pro-Invasion all the way. I just don't want our troops standing around being targets for no reason after the fact. They already did their job...brilliantly I might add.

Let the Iraqis kill each other instead of our kids.:(

We leave, the whole region is f'ed. Not that it hasn't been for centuries/ millenium.

Only thing I can think of is for positioning down the road. The govt. knows something else is going to happen.

I used to think the same way. But are theories the purpose of our military dying? I thought our military was to fight opposing armies in pursuit of an objective.

Not patrol around and get blown up after the fact.

what i don't understand is that whole part of the world has been at war since the brith of civilization. why did we think we could stop it? oh yeah, we didn't we just needed more oil, i mean "to spread democracy and to out an evil dictator"

Well oil obviously wasn't the reason...considering the current prices.

Yes it does, but the price of gas is also linked to production capacity. Oil on the other hand is based on demand and speculation.

Not supporting the troops because of Bush hatred is unpatriotic.

Wanting our troops to stop being useless targets is not.:)

I have no problem with invading, defeating Saddam, and installing a government. Our job is done.

the only problem i have with bush is he's keeping them over there. i agreed with going into afghanistan, iraq was a strech for me, but saddam was a bastard of a leader. we do need to get the hell out of there.
