I got a better idea.
I'll support Fred Thompson by him making a sizable donation to my credit union account.
My general rule is to never donate to a campaign supported by sicem.

Dubya actually works quite a bit. I can count to quite a few presidents that work less than he does.
And this thread is about Thompson people, not ME!
And this thread is about Thompson people, not ME!Well, yeah, but since you started the thread, there are now a lot fewer Thompson people than there used to be. Dagnabbit, I was starting to like the guy. Now he's dead to me.

All that where they spend their time is really bs. What can he do in Washington that he can't do in Crawford?

A President doesn't get a vaction, he's just doing his work in another location. That's true of every president not just Bush.

Remember, Baylor is only 20 minutes away.
I like Fred Thompson. I think he'll energize his base like Reagan did.
I also think he is the biggest threat to the socialist movement in the Republican field. The rest of the canidates (the serious ones) are blah.

Yeah, I work from home sometimes, let me tell you, I sometimes get more done, and sometimes I get a lot less accomplished. And I'm not out pulling stumps and scrub brush or playing golf when I'm "working from another location".

I'm with Fred. Signed up the other night, shortly after his interview with Sean Hannity. It's time we had a reliable conservative option available.
