Chicken Picatta over fettuccine.
Grilled asparagus.
Green salad with homemade honey dijon dressing.

And yep, it was quite well received.

I got a huge crock pot for graduation. Thumbing through the recipe book that came with it I'm thinking about either the All American Meatloaf, or the Carolina Barbecued Pork.
