Oh yeah? Well I think I saw you going from your driveway in back toward your house Sunday around..ummm..maybe 1:30ish? or later. We were headed to the mall and I was going to roll down my window and say hello but I was afraid it might have seemed stalkerish....but now that I know YOU are a stalker, I will stop next time.

Those of you that like The Black Keys and live in the OKC area should check out The Rounders. They'll be at Jazz in June this year, and they frequently play a lot of places in the metro. Think of the Keys but with 5 guys instead of 2.

Oh yeah, F the White Stripes.

If you were like me and hated live music then you'd never have to shell out another dollar for a concert.

:D

I just think the Stripes are overrated/overhyped. I can listen to them every once in a while, but in my opinion they get way too much press in relation to how good they actually are.

yermom
6/4/2007, 11:07 PM
have you seen them live?

and SicEm, i'm glad every day when i wake up and know i'm not like you ;)

silverwheels
6/4/2007, 11:11 PM
No, I haven't seen them live. I don't think I like them enough to shell out the cash for that. Plus I heard a few years ago that Jack dissed OKC when they played here.

The W Stripes tour dates tripped me out. Every province and like 20 dates in Canada. Whitehorse, Iqaluit, Yellowknife? These shows are up by the arctic circle. That would be cool. For like 30 minutes.

I don't remember exactly what he said, but I think it was something along the lines of calling Oklahomans "rednecks" in between two songs, and not in a joking way. It was in the concert review section of either the newspaper or the Gazette.

ill be at the black rebel motorcycle club show. saw em play like 5 years ago at the conservatory/old green door and they ruled...until their **** broke down. :(
black keys may be a bit of a let down. is dinosaur jr. really opening for them? or is that just the way you wrote it? saw black keys about 3 years back at the opolis and they were ok. nothing more, nothing less.

OUAndy1807

Dinosaur Jr doesn't open for the black keys, it was just written that way.

black keys are good in concert and Dinosaur Jr was the loudest show I'd ever been to until I saw Yo La Tengo at Cains. That **** was loud.

I would be willing to see Niel Diamond in concert.
You wouldn't be able to handle it. Neil would jump off the stage, knock the Zima out of your hand and then send you home crying.
