i use to live in this upstairs apartment with telephone wires all around the backyard area. and the squirrels would do their thing on the telephone wires....all kinds of weird stunts and escape maneouvers...these are animals who do not understand "cause and effect".

My dad used to go squirrel hunting religiously, every year. He'd save a week's vacation from work to be out in the woods at 5 AM on Opening Day. I never understood why he wanted to kill the damned things.

I went with him when he'd let me but never cared for it. As far as I'm concerned, deer hunting is the same way. I have family members who plan their entire lives around deer season. More power to them.

I'd rather much fish. If I'm going to hang some animal on the wall, it's coming out of the ocean, by God.
