I didn't think it could get worse than blowing a save vs. the Devil Rays on Tuesday night, but giving up 7 hits and 5 earned runs in 1 IP tonight is the zenith of suckiness. Your team is mired in its worst slump in the last two years and you're supposed to be the kind of veteran that picks up a team when it needs it. Freaking pathetic. :mad:

pretty sure that andrew miller would still refuse to play for the royals. dotel isn't much better than jones in that regard...in fact he's just as likely to blow a save.

Allard Baird isn't running the show anymore. Dotel probably could be had for a lower grade prospect or two similar to what the White Sox gave up for McDougal. Like Dallas Trahearn and another live arm.
