With the size of that pig they probably just collected semen to AI rather than using a natural cover.

"That's "Fred" the pig, and according to Rhonda and Phil Blissitt their humongous hog escaped on April 29, four days before it was killed, according to the Star newspaper."

What no phone call to warn people that a giant pig was on the loose? Couldn't you just imagine that phone call? haha

 So, Fred gets no funzies but is expected to support his progeny anyway?

Being distraught over his predicament, he probably committed suicide by hunter. :(

Am I misreading it or does it state at the beginning of the article that the hog escaped, then at the end states that it was sold?

"But if they hadn't fed him in a while," Rhonda Blissitt said, "he could have gotten irate."

My brother was the same way.

Feral hogs are the suck. Every one of them bastages began their life like Fred. Somebody's domestic hog who either escaped or was let loose. They're getting closer and closer to my place south of OKC, and I dread the day I have to start shooting those ****ers on my land. One hog is more destructive than a whole gaggle of armadillos. Free hog hunts on the Deanarosa when they show up. And unfortunately, they will show up.

Hells yes. I mean as long as you like pork. I've eaten it several times, and it tastes exactly like......pork.

Which makes me comment about wild turkey. I've had a lot of people say "what does wild turkey taste like?" I always say "uh, turkey?"

Leaner than tame pork. A little bit of gamey flavor that can be smoked out on the BBQ pit.
