DING DING DING!

Winnar!

I really don't care...although it should've been "Cougar Bait" to have been more appropriate. My wife, on the other hand, HATES IT! Whatever, it's part of the flying community...and it wasn't the worst they could've come up with by far.

Yeah, it can always be worse. A friend of mine's was "Gash".

Yah, there's a Captain in my squadron that has the call sign "Birdstrike" cause he got into a wreck with a full bird Colonel.

I'd rather get razzed for whom I married than get razzed for THAT!

Note: I told my parents my new call sign...my dad is of the opinion that it should've been "Spaz." Now that one, I would've hated!

one of my ROTC instructor's call sign was Sting. He said that he got it during/after a toga party.

I don't know if he got it when he was with AWACS or when he switched over to rotary wing aircraft in the Army.

I have a friend and he won't give up his call sign. He's not to proud about it, but he did tell me the story about how he got and it ended up with him vomitting.

There are rules about callsigns. #1: You don't get to pick your own
#2: They are usually thinly veiled allusions to some perjorative aspect of your personality, prior misdeeds or physical attributes. #3: Complaining about them is the surest way to make them stick so hard even multiple subsequent assignments won't erase them.

My wife, on the other hand....

Nah, tell 'em you stole it from that pansy John Mellencamp, because he wasn't worthy.

I'm just glad that my first name isn't John...cause then I would've hated that callsign (cause I can't stand Mellencamp...his music or his politics).

Yah...I didn't protest. I really don't care. I'm madly in love with my wife and we're extremely happy in our marriage. It's all that I could ask for.

My wife is 10 years older than me.

It was hella fun when I was 20 and she was 30.

We still have good times, but I have to beg for it more often.
