You going to participate in that TotalCare EMSA deal? I'm thinking I'll just opt out.....I already have insurance and that's what this seems to be, freakin' ambulance insurance.

Welcome to socialism. Next thing you know, you will be paying everyones medical bills as well, even if you work your *** off for medical insurance anyway.

So, if you actually lived in Tulsa, I could put you down for an "opt out" since that is an option, right?

From what I understand, yes. You will have to pay more for ambulance rides though.

I was talking to Tuba.....sometimes he doesn't see that there are other options.

But yes, you can opt out of the $3.64 charge each month and be liable for the cost of the ambulance ride; however, if you have insurance coverage it isn't like you'll be paying the whole amount (which seems outrageous) of $1100.

Ahh forgive me, I was thinking it was like the Owasso version, where I had to pay for it regardless.

If I pay the extra dough...

Will EMSA take me to work and pick me up when I'm ready to go home?
