Ha I noticed one whorn on that board that said that texass will be absolutely sick in 08 whereas they fail to mention who else will be sick in 08...us.

We will have one of the best offenses in the country and what is so scary about it is that theres only one senior and that is JJ finley.

OUr defense will be outstanding this year AND next year as well. So texass will have a challenge(sorry horns, no cakewalk for you)

What also I find funny is that another horn says that in 08 and 09 that their defense will be out of this world and he shows us his projected depth chart and the biggest thing wrong with it is that it's filled with UNPROVEN players.
Note to the horn who made that statement: We seem to hear about this "amazing defense" every single year. You guys have had some great years but please explain to me how you guys were one of the worst in pass defense with a jim thorpe award winner.

There schedule is a cakewalk with the exception of them playing us, okie lite, and aggie.

Conclusion: It's going to take another Vince-Young type player for them to go back to the national championship picture. This could happen if they do in fact get Pennsylvania recruit Tyrelle Pryor.

I refuse to say they won't. They have the talent to go quite often. A lot of people don't realize how many times they *could* have gone if Stoops never came to OU. How many times did Stoops sink their ship in the RRS? 2004, they were certainly good enough to get there. Winning it, though? Highly doubt it. The difference between 2004 Hook 'em and 2005 Hook 'em was a polished passing game, a more solid defensive effort, and no one to stop them outside of Ohio State.

My question is not can Texas make another BCS MNC game, it is can we do it again? Odds have Texas making it before us right now, unfortunately.

Note: I didn't say they would win it, we all know certain teams pull a little more weight in terms of BCS voting just because of their name. They are certainly capable of "getting there" again. It would be kinda funny if they went in with only one loss to OU, and got obliterated. Then they'd STFU about the game which we do not speak of.
