Reporting from Sec 104 at the Brick - top 7, 1 out, Ags with a man on third after a triple. We've had bases loaded no outs twice tonight, and have only managed one run each time.

Going to the bullpen.

33 hits between the two teams. That's some awful pitching.

OSU's Jordy Mercer pitched 1.1 innings, allowed five runs on four hits, two walks, one strikeout and two wild pitches. Ouch.

You said lets talk in two weeks early last night and now that you beat us in the tournament you are now saying that we are playing second fiddle to you guys. You keep going back and forth. Stick with one thing and go with it. Every game they have played against eachother has been close this year so I will say that they are pretty equal with OSU having a slight edge. With that said, we will see what happens in the NCAA tournament and that will probably decide who had the better season. If they were to both not make it out of the regional then it is obvious that OSU would have had the better season.

Now if OSU does better I would expect you to admit OSU had a better season but I know that is hard for most sooner fans to do so I wont hold my breath.

Earl Weaver said it best when he said "You can't sit on a lead and run a few plays into the line and just kill the clock. You've got to throw the ball over the goddamn plate and give the other man his chance. That's why baseball is the greatest game of them all."

I went with some friends. The wife and I decided that we were gonna go watch Pirates of the Caribbean at 11:10 no matter what. We headed over there at about 10 til during the top of the eighth. The movie was sold out, so we listened to the end of the game on the radio.

You'll notice that's about the time our fortunes changed. Sorry I didn't leave earlier.

I'd also like to point out that in the top of the first we had a deuces wild situation and my friends didn't take off their caps and shake them like I implored them to do. Batter foul tips the next pitch and then they go on to score 3 runs.

Two more times during the night, OSU had runners in scoring position and a deuces wild situation came up. I convinced my buddies to shake their caps both times and OSU failed to score both times.

I'm tryin to tell you people...you've gotta

It wasn't beating you in the tourney it was having the best record against the top 25 in the nation. RPI sureasphuck played a role when Mizzou made it last season.

We have a young team, solid pitchers and a great coach (like him or not he gets the most out of his guys) coming back next year. I expect us to compete for the Big XII Championship.
