The release said it's going to be in 80,000-seat format for the B12 Championship.

I'm just curious because I know they did back-to-back games in the south in '01 and '02 (Dallas and Houston) because Reliant was hosting the Super Bowl in '04 (for the '03) season. But playing the B12 game in Arlington in 2010 will put it in the same football season as the Super Bowl, so I'm guessing there was some different logic being used this time around.

Well, that gives us a guarantee trip to the big game in '08!

It was also in Kansas City in 2003, 2004, and again in 2006. Not that rare to double in the same region.

Yeah it was in KC in 03 and 04 because it had been in the south for two straight years. (Ugh... '03) They like to keep it even. It doesn't really matter, I was wondering if anyone had heard an explanation.
