i upgraded to the digital w/ DVR about 6 months ago.

i had been on the same bundle for 10 years, and upgrading was actually less money than i had been paying before.

and the DVR kicks ***. i usually have more stuff recorded than i could ever watch.

specifically concerning your interests of COLLEGE football, CHICAGO BEARS football, discovery, animal planet, history channel - yeah, you'll get more of all of that.

YEah, we've got the digital bundle - pretty much everything except for hi-def (my tv is 27", it doesn't show hi-def anyway) and the movie channels. You get to see pretty much everything you're looking for.
