I've compiled a list of the schools from Oklahoma on up. This list refers to players who have actually played in the majors, not just players who have been drafted or played professionally. Oklahoma is tied for 14th, producing 56players for the big leagues. OSU has 46. Both numbers are very impressive.

1. USC (97)
2. Texas (93)
3. Arizona State (86)
4. College of the Holy Cross (77)
5. Michigan (71)
6. Stanford (70)
7. Illinois (68)
8. Notre Dame (67)
9. Saint Mary's College of California (62)
9. UCLA (62)
11. Arizona (58)
12. LSU (57)
12. Alabama (57)
14. Oklahoma (56)
14. Santa Clara (56)
14. Fordham University (56)

Where'd you get your numbers?

The OSU Media Guide thinks only 39 Pokes have played in the majors.

They're all-time #'s, Jaux.

Well, Oklahoma State does have the series lead by seven. Both schools have produced well and I'm glad I have the opportunity to watch some awesome amateur baseball, before these guys go pro.

Take a look at that site. If you live in Oklahoma, you're in baseball heaven. This is a down year for OU, but a lot of the schools in Oklahoma are doing well and have a lot of talent.
