Wellbutrin? isn't that an anti-depressant?

according to Wiki it is prescribed to help kick the smoking habit also.

further reading indicates it helps with sexual dysfunction.

My sympathy for Blue is growing.;)

I started taking it to quit smoking, but that didn't take. It did however (very subtely) put me in a more productive state of mind. So I kept taking it.

High blood pressure, borderline cholesterol, new job stress, gas guzzling Toyota Tundra, mortgage payment in Fl PLUS an apt. lease in NC, carpooling with psychotic 62 year old, away from family, live for the next episode of The Sopranos, basic patheticness.

Anyone else?

I'm prone to mild depression (why I drink to medicate sometimes) and have taken a few things in the past. I always felt I was "on" something. Wellbutrin has been a godsend. I can't tell im taking them, but again, I feel like the cloud is gone.

cloud=Where life is a chore instead of enjoying for me.

I started focusing on positives, goals, solutions, etc instead of wallowing in the muck of negativity.

Most people would say thats not the medicine, but i would disagree. I hate medication and used to consider it a weakness, but it works and my quality of life is getting back to where it needs to be.

nothing wrong with medication my friend.

I am glad you feel better about things cuz it truly sucks being in a "funk"
