This just blows my mind. People get hurt playing sports. It happens, it shouldn't be a lawsuit.

wonder what the statute of limitations on such suits are. I could probably make a killing with all of the injuries that resulted from the jacked up throwing mechanics I had all through high school and the injuries they caused.

you name it, I did it. And often. (I was known to throw upwards of 100 pitches per outing, and I pitched a lot....hey I wonder if I could tack on "overuse" as well!)

It wasn't till I was through 2 years of college that pitching with somewhat proper mechanics ever felt comfortable. Although I still step towards the lefty batters box and throw a bit across my body...doesn't hurt me none though.
