awesome - i watch alot of those shows on discovery and national geographic, and the water buffalo rarely loses to the lion.......

The croc however, usually owns the buffalo. I can't imagine the amount of force it takes to flip a 1000 pound animal, drag it into the water and drown it.

The lioness laid out and executed a perfect form tackle on the little buffalo. That was an impressive take down.

And I busted out laughing when kitty got flung into the air:D

I'm sure that the lions follow the herd for a while and when that wounded calf falls over they will get their meal.;)
