So you can talk ALL THINGS SOONER FOR ETERNITY.This can include anyone who has already passed or should pass before you.I'm kinda thinking Barry would be a cool choice.I figure we could save aplace for Sherri Coale. :D

Yes I stole this idea from ACCORDING TO JIM where Jim had the chance to be buried next to his idol Bronko Nagurski.

That one is easy, is it not? Barry Switzer.

1. One of the greats.
2. One of the few who can also keep it interesting for all time.

(Hey, you didn't say it had to be a player, right? :D)

Mex the Dog. I know he is somewhere under Owen Field but still, better to be buried where the game is played rather than just some field.

If I hadda talk sooners with just one other (human, after all God loves the sooners) person for all eternity, I would pick Coach Merv Johnson.

Candy Loving, but atop and face down. There may be some legal glitches though, since this would require her predeceasing me.

I plan not to be buried. I can't see wasting the land by sticking a body in it, but hey... ;)

Uh...buried next to another Sooner? Unless its another member of your family, thats going just alittle too far in my opinion..

Well of course this is a humorous what if scenario.Like if the family plots you are looking at all had open spots next to a famous Sooner great.Geez takes all the fun outta thingswhen you have to explain them.BTW I am planning to be cremated and have some of my ashes scattered on Owen Field.

I had one other thought about who I would like to be buried next to for an eternity of Sooner talk,Bennie Owen.I would love to hear firsthand what the early days of the Sooners were like ad for that matter what Oklahoma was like way back then.

Bud...'nuff said.

If that is your wish, then you better plan on being buried in St. Louis. Bud died in 1994 and is buried there. He became coach for a couple of years of the then St. Louis Cardinals and continued to live there for the rest of his life. I once asked his son if he wished his dad had been buried in the soil of Oklahoma. There was a long silence before he sadly replied, "Oh, yes."

You going to wait till he's dead before being buried next to him?

You people are sick.

I watch and love sports.

I'll be buried next to my wife though. Why miss the one opportunity she can't nag me?

I guessing no one wants to buried next to Schnelly or Boo?

I think Danny Hodge was as good an answer as possible. Jimmy Harris or Steve Davis would also be good choices.(Let's let them die, first, and no time soon, please)

It would be somewhat difficult to be buried next to Billy Vessels. Some of his ashes were scattered, a couple of years ago, over the Norman stadium field in a small ceremony witnessed by several of his friends and fans. I am not sure where Prentice Gautt is buried, but I do know that Jay Wilkinson, son of Bud, delievered the most moving eulogy at his funeral in Kansas. Since Bud was the coach he played for at OU, it was so fitting that Jay closed the circle of his life by delivering a memorial which was so very personal and heartfelt in its message.

Spencer Tillman. That guy will talk Sooner Sports until he resurrects you and you get up and leave.

I'm surprised to see no "a Sherri on top."
