Plus I was walking with tall girl, which means I had to lengthen my stride quite a bit. Which means SOMEONE has some pretty good chafe going on.

I've got some pretty bad blisters right now too... 3 hours of up and down basketball will do that every time... I have blisters on the freaking TOPS of my toes for God's sake.

Sterilized a needle with rubbing alcohol. Punctured well over to the side and drained. Put some vaseline over it then covered it with a band-aid.

I used to get blisters beneath my toenails when I played a lot of ball. At one particular time I was missing 6 toenails. I finally started wearing two pair of socks and never had another problem.

If the pharmacist is there, I would ask what he, or she thinks about using some hydrogen peroxide after your shower and then applying the silver sulfate before bed. Thats what our pharmacist recommended to my daughter when she got blisters from running track. Ask if you should being using bandages or not. The only time she was told to use bandages was at night after we applied the silvadene (silver sulfate), but the gauze he gave us allowed for plenty of air to get through. Those foot blisters can get really infected if you're not careful.

Usually when I get foot blisters it's under an area that's heavily callused anyway, so I just take it easy for a few days and they go away.

That or the bottom of my big toe peels off after a day or two. ;)
