Take Vitamin B1. It makes your skin unappealing to mosquitoes, and it's water soluble so you can't overdose.

Citrus, peppermint, vanilla, bay, clove, sassafras, and cedar all repel mosquitoes.

Pennyroyal is a natural mosquito repellant, but don't get it on your skin. Just get a bottle from a health food store and open it near you. Better yet, plant a couple of plants near where you like to sit outside.

They don't like the smell of citrus, so if you're having a party outside, put some lemon Joy dish detergent in a hose end sprayer and hose down your yard and patio. It not only repels them, it affects their digestive system and doesn't hurt your grass.

Don't eat bananas. They may you smell like a mosquito buffet. It takes a few weeks to get it out of your system.
