I find this sort of thing fascinating.

There are 1.4 million Americans with my first name and 332 with my last name. That makes my last name the 75,677th most popular. I only know of eight from my immediate and extended family.

I'm not sure how the programme works but it seems to be multiplying the odds on combination of first and last names. Apparently, one in ten will get a 0 response.

According to this method, there are only 2 of me.

it says there's only one of me but thats not correct because a google search of my name reveals another JS in tennessee and is a senior network engineer

I tried John Smith, and there were 49,500 or so.

None for me. my last name is common, but it is spelled just a tad differently than the normal spelling. My ex husband's great grandfather changed the spelling on purpose - simply by adding an "e" to the end - now, my ex husband's family members (well..including me because I kept his last name after the divorce) are the only ones in the entire united states with that last name.
