it always surprises me that posters I listened to in 2000 are still putting out the same ole crap. For example, Norm, Dean, Bri and SuperSooner. It just seems to me that they would have moved on by now.

Maybe I need to explain the whole soonerboy_oda_ nord thing again....

Ya see, way back in the day, when I first jumped into and discovered the warm waters of the internet and was looking for my first "handle", I found myself in a most uncreative mood. Couldn't think of a thing. So I decided to keep it simple... I'm a sooner boy born and raised (and when I die will be sooner dead, of course) who found himself up in the great white (think snow) Scandinavian state of Minnesota... and soonerboy of minnessota was just a little too boring... I liked soonerboy of the north better, but then decided to give it a little Scandanavian accent... so...

soonerboy oda nord was born...

... For which I was almost immediately hammered by several people and put on several people's ignore lists without really having engaged in conversation #1. Apparently, folks got hung up on the "nord" part of that thinking I was some kind of Gary Nord fan freak... this of course being on the heels of his infamous (and sophmoric, not to mention ignorant) dentistry "joke".

So post haste, soonerboy oda nord died a very quick death. And today I stand before you:
