It is warm in NW OKC, as well. It is also approaching mid-90s in Houston, where we will be in a week. Brace yourselves.

i love hot weather..and i spent a summer in italy without AC, I know i can handle it. I think it just needs some coolant and a new filter. I hope. there's air coming out of the vent, just not cool

You really have to appreciate heat, in order to tolerate it. I can handle it because since I have been in the rain forest, that anything here is nothing in comparison. I also have learned to enjoy humidity and sweating profusely from it. Just euphoria.

I'm not crazy about humidity like St. Louis or Miami Fl. have...but i can tolerate it.

only one time did i absolutely hate it in italy - we were at a restaurant upstairs with no air circulating at all..they don't have ceiling fans or anything..they had the windows open and it was SWARMING with mosquitoes..miserable

I don't mean desert-dry, scorching heat, but rather warm, rising air with moisture. Being surrounded by that for a few hours, then step into a fully air-conditioned room, feels like a slice of Heaven. Try it!

I grew up with the open windows spring through fall. I am now however, spoilt. I keep the a/c at 73 and sleep comfortably. I went to my buddy's house last night to watch Tony Soprano. We watched the show in the upstairs bonus room which he keeps at 65 with the ceiling fan on high:eek: . My nickles coulda cut diamonds.

Ya, my dad enjoys the air conditioning only when it's 3/4th freezing inside the car and I abhor it. My mom goes along with it, but she's more like me.

But if you try telling me you love the weather

Now hold on a minute, tiger. I've gone through days when I've had the heater on in my car in the morning, and then turn on the AC 5 hours later, only to turn back on the heat at night. That, my friend, is Oklahoma weather in all of its glory. I, on the other hand, just prefer high-80s to high-90s temperature. Reminds me of friday night games, fishing and vacations, is all.

i recommend putting on your skimpiest bikini, washing your car and then laying on the hood and letting the water from the water hose run down your hot sweaty body!
