Olevet, My a/c is cold at hwy speeds but not so cool while at idle. I have never seen the 'pressor actually cycle(it stays on constant). I was told by a friend, he thinks I'm not get enough air through the condesor. I gotta few bugs in it, but nothing that looks that bad. Any help is appreciated.

97, IL6B. Pressure shows good. I thought the pressor would cycle on and off if it was low? Mine doesn't cycle, it just stay's on.

Wifes got it at work tonight. It doesn't have an electric fan. I thought about the fan clutch maybe out. My friend say's "If'n its out, you can grab it with your hand while the motors runnin". I told hime I was afraid I'd have to call him back and tell him "well, the fan clutch is good, but I'm missing three ****'n fingers".

Smart move ,
Check it when Its warm , engine Off , If it turns easy then thats a big part of it . then take your Radiator lose from the brackets lean it in towards the engine and Hose the hell out of the space between your Radiator and the Condensor . It really sounds to me your not getting enough air across the condensor
But with out knowing the Pressures High an low its hard to tell .
