No mail yet...

Tailwind
5/13/2007, 12:52 AM
Funny thing....I hung the bag on my mailbox, which is out on the street...went to check the mail and the bag was gone, but no mail. Later, there was mail. WTF???

SleestakSooner
5/13/2007, 09:45 AM
we never even got a bag... I don't blame the mailman really, he's got enough to do and there are plenty of other ways to donate. Can you imagine adding that much extra stuff to your normal mail route?

Tailwind
5/13/2007, 12:07 PM
I was thinking they may have had an extra truck to pick up the bags. I hope that's the explanation...or someone in my 'Hood was really hungry, in which case, uh, well, I dunno whether to be ****ed or happy to have helped someone.

I was gonna give them postal carriers some canned goods, but I don't have any of those extra 2 cent stamps to put on the cans.
