I worked at KOCO as a news writer during Tyler Suiters' first year in the OKC market. One day that summer, the AC went out in the studio, so production assistants were holding fans on Tyler and Milissa Rehberger (she's on CNN now) during the noon newscast; but even so, as you can imagine hot studio lights combined with no AC will cause major sweating and makeup meltage.

So we are live on the air, filling up about 15 seconds with chit chat before we go to break. Milissa mentions the AC situation and thanks me on air for holding the fan on them. Tyler says, "Yes, thanks so much for blowing me, VK."

The best part though, is they were on a two-shot, and the footage of Milissa biting her lip to keep from losing it on air was awesome.

It wasn't a newscast, but during a basketball game a few seasons ago, they didn't turn the mics off of the commentators during a timeout. They kept making fun of one of the fans in the crowd.

Back in the day, when we only had 4,5,9,25 & 34 Ron(from Jack & Ron)was either a weather or sportscaster for Fox 25. One day after school, I'm watchin 25 and Ron trips over a cord and say's "Son of a bitch, I pulled out the god damned sound cord again". Me and my brother laughed our little asses off. I seen Ron about 3 years ago and reminded him about that.
