Tiger even today, still at +3.
Phil still in the lead - for now.

This should be a real major - kick the Open Championship out. ;)

it sure was yesterday. I don't remember the exact numbers but something like 50 balls in the water yesterday - and the record for the 4-day event is 59.

Arnie is my favorite golfer of all time - him and Gary Player.

i like Gary Player a lot too. inna day, GP would take a 3 week steamer boat ride to play in the (British) Open Championship. that's good stuff, IMO. he complained there weren't enough trees and not enough green grass and fake bird noises.... but played like a mutha.

there's a great story Nicklaus tells i've read in a couple golf mags....where maybe at Scioto (jack's home course in Ohio)....it's raining like hell and he's still at the course in the clubhouse and some loony cat is out hitting balls on the practice tee. the young Nicklaus is, like, "who the hell that guy out there".....and the club pro answers. "that's Arnold Palmer".

I had no chance to watch any golf today. Very few big names on the leaderboard other than Mickelson. He has been pretty consistent this week. It will be interesting to see if he can hold it together tomorrow.

Were any cows in danger? Goats?

And if I could get ankle deep in Heather, I sure wouldn't be braggin' about it.

i like that graphic they are using with the greens and all the golf balls that shows the green contours and slope/collection spots.

Ollie is amazing sometimes. only hits 5 fairways today, but hits 16 greens.
