SWAT team at Boulder high school and CU J school locked down on graduation day

swat teams are out. helicopters overhead, you can hear them. here's text of the email i got from the dean of the SJMC:

Dear Colleagues,

This morning Boulder High School cafeteria workers reported seeing two
men wearing masks and camouflage clothing acting suspiciously in the
school building. Boulder Police have shut down the school at least
until 10 a.m., and access to University Avenues, as you may have
noticed, is restricted. A SWAT team is now at the school.

CUPD and Boulder PD have asked us (workers in buildings along
University) to call 911 if we see anything suspicious, particularly men
in camo.

not saying anything is gonna happen, or copycat Va Tech/columbine....but i can hear multiple helicopters in the air (i assume they are media, but maybe not) above where i live (about 1/4 mile from Boulder High).

me too. this is really happening right now. real or not, the school is shut down. graduation ceremony is on hold....at CU. there are helicopters in the air. SWAT team has been deployed.

i don't know anything else. i'm staying inside...as i say...i live about a 1/4 mile from there. the helicopters are gone. possibly an overreation. but, who knows?

it's kind of funny how if a SWAT team closed down Ringwood High school and someone else posted it this board would be swarming with posts and "i told you so" opinions.

i think it's a hoax, and it's sad. i find it interesting that so many are dismissive when it it made national news and the SWAT team was there.....because it was in a place they consider "liberal" (scapegoat) instead of some pure place they like to call home that might be threatened from time to time.

if it happened somewhere else, it would be proof of something.
