As I type this, there is a radar indicated tornado warning in El Reno. I see the radar and I do not see a hook echo. I thought tornadoes happened where there is a hook echo on radar. This just looks like a bunch of rain, lightning and rain. I guess I learned something new tonight.

earlier this year Gary England said this would be a "normal" spring with fewer tornadoes than previous years in Oklahoma. I am guessing he was way off.

I thought he said he felt like it was going to be normal as in more storms than as of late.

If you zoom in, you can see the hook in the red. Gary may have his ESP running, but I haven't looked. I don't trust the radar anyway. I think the only way to know, is when a mezo cyclone is tapp'n ya in the forehead.

Why do people live in the swamp lands....

Excellent question. Why live in a swamp when you know a flood or hurricane will no doubt one day destroy your home?

...with 19,000 ft tops, those are going to be some weak-*** tornadoes. Still, exciting, I would imagine.

They dont know how to cover severe weather down here in Dallas

Why live in swamp which results in near-retard dialog and anti-human personality, i.e. cajun mental illness...

Stay safe everyone.

BTW, just moved to the Deer Creek area last month and I keep hearing the weather men mention the "Four Corners" area. What/where is that?

Thanks in advance.

That sounds about right. I live off of McCarthur & NW 160th so I was surprised that the tornado sirens didn't go off at some point. We had the storm shelter open and ready to go this morning just in case but the storms moved just NW of us luckily.

It looks like Guthrie is under the gun now.
