When I swam in USS one of my teammates used to take midol as a general pain reliever and he swore it helped loosen his muscles and increase his stamina.

All we did was talk other guys into shaving their entire bodies before the final race...


Why we did this? Well, the 2 or 3 weeks of watching them wandering around dealing with constant itching from sensitive areas was greatly ammusing (and made me glad I refused to believe the full shave story my first year)
